New video over at the Washington Post
I think the last time the Washington Post put together a video of me working was in 2011… here’s a link to the just released latest one:
Russian cartoonist Victor Bogorad
I’ve been meaning to post these wonderful sketches by the Russian cartoonist Victor Bogorad ever since my return from the Memorial de Caen Dessin de Presse conference. During a panel where we discussed religion and if there are limits in cartooning Victor was sitting in the audience, busily sketching. He made a little booklet out of them which he presented to me afterwards. I find his work quietly powerful, which not many people can accomplish.
Prints from the Hillary Clinton Benghazi hearing
I’ve received some requests for purchasing reprints of the sketches from the Hillary Clinton Benghazi hearings; they’re now available at the Cartoonist Group. (*Looks like the store is down, please contact info@cartoonistgroup.com for purchases and questions)
Hillary testifies at House Benghazi hearing
Last Thursday former Secretary of State testified for over 9 hours in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi. You can see all the sketches at my Washington Post blog:
Atena Farghadani
Amnesty International reports that the activist and artist Atena Farghadani has been given a “virginity test” after being observed shaking hands with her male attorney. Read my piece at the Washington Post about this latest outrageous action by the Iranian government.
